Voting Rules


The following information is in accordance with the adopted by-laws for the Saddlewood Meadows Home Owners Association.
Nominations and Elections of Directors and Officers

At the first meeting of the membership each year, nominations for officers and members of the Board of Directors will be received from the members.

  • Candidates for any office must be members.
  • The consent of each nominee shall be obtained before a vote is taken.
  • There shall be a limit of one member of the same household that can serve on the Board of Directors at the same time.
  • The Board of Directors shall consist of no more than 5 but not less than 3 members.
  • Board members shall hold office until their successors are elected.
  • Election of officers nominated shall be held at the first meeting of the membership each year.
  • Officers will also be members of the Board of Directors.
  • A majority of the board of directors present and voting shall elect.
  • There shall be no proxy voting for either the board membership or officers.
  • All officers (currently President, Treasurer, & Secretary) shall hold office until their successors are elected.
  • The resignation of an officer or director shall be submitted to the President in writing, and the President shall present this resignation to the Board of Directors for action.
  • Directors and officers shall receive no compensation for their services or attendance at meetings. Directors are entrusted to act in good faith on behalf of the Homeowners Association for the purpose of benefiting the Association while illustrating the highest level of integrity and ethics.

Currently the board of director consists of:

  • Bob Hernandez (President)
  • Justin Gerstner (Treasurer)
  • Lynn Reiter (Secretary)
  • Dwayne Marstellar (Director)
  • Drew (Director)

As of the date of this publication none of the directors have resigned and therefore will continue in their office unless a successor is voted upon. Any change in the directors for this voting period will first require a nomination and then a vote of the members.

The final director vote and online proxy votes will be tallied at the annual meeting on the 30th of May 2017. If you are not able to attend the annual meeting you can submit a proxy voting ballot through this website. Online proxy voting will be available on the 16th of May 2018 after any final nominations are received the 15th of May 2018. Online proxy voting will be closed on the 29th of May 2018 at NOON. Any proxy votes received after that time will NOT be counted. Only one (1) voting ballot will be accepted per member lot, you must be registered on the saddlewoodmeadows.org website in order to be eligible to vote with the online proxy.

Nominations, Nominee Acceptance and Write-In votes will be accepted during the annual member meeting if you are unable to use the online versions.
